Proverbs 22: 6

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Psalm127:3

Children are a blessing
and a gift from the Lord.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

I love teaching our children at home and watching them grow and learn.

Every child is different and at home we have the opportunity to nurture their creativity and individuality as well as teaching them essential life skills.

I hope on these pages to encourage other home educators who feel that God has called them to this wonderful and challenging task of raising our children outside of school.

I think one of the things that keeps me going when I have hard days with home ed is that I know that God has plans & purposes for our children’s lives and if I listen he guides me into what I should do for them next.

He holds their futures in his hands – so if we follow him we can’t go far wrong 🙂

I recognise that home education is not for everyone but I want to encourage other people who are on this journey, as quite often you face a lot of opposition when deciding to Home Educate.

Ephesians 6:10

Be strong in The Lord and in his mighty power.

Proverbs 3:5-6 5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Praying For Gods guidance, peace and strength for you all, as you serve God in Home Educating your children today 🙂
